Instant Potato Soup Mix

When cool afternoons or rainy days approach that is always a good time to make a bowl of homemade soup. The soup is usually a meal popular with men in your life that are your children 12 years of age or your thirty-year old husband. In many cases it is possible to create a version of dehydrated soups if fresh are not available at the market square. This situation may derive from a large national emergency as hurricanes or floods that would prevent the supply trucks that arrive at their destination. With our instant soup recipe everything you will need to do is open the jar and pour the contents into a pot of hot, boiling water.

The following recipe will make enough soup for 12 people so you could perhaps invite a neighbor in a treatment of meals. This gives you the opportunity to show your friends and family as simple and inviting a program storage sufficient food can be. When saving your food family provides always remember to conserve what you eat and eat what is store.

Ingredients

1/4 cup chicken broth, grains
3 cups of flaked instant mashed potatoes
2 tablespoons dry minced onion
1 tsp black pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 tbsp dill weed
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 cup instant milk
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/8 cup of bacon crushed

Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl except for bacon. In your food processor or by hand grind up the bacon until they appear crumbled down. This will allow them to combine with other ingredients. After breaking up the bacon bits added to the mixture and mix well until they are evenly mixed with other products.

The final product in quart jars and place a package of oxygen absorber on each. Jars of potato soup must store nicely for at least eight to ten years.

Use make this recipe 12 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add the dry mixture and lower the heat to a simmer. Allow to simmer for 20 minutes until all ingredients are tender.

To add some variety to the recipe above, you could add some canned ham ingredients or dehydrate. Serve with a sprig of parsley, if available or better with some fresh onions sliced, in both cases served with toasted bread or homemade bread.
